From the 27 to the 29 January 2025, the CROSSEU project partners met in Prague for the second General Assembly, hosted by the Faculty of Environmental Sciences at CZU. This meeting was an opportunity to present the progress made during the first year and to outline the next steps in the project’s implementation. The meeting also facilitated discussion and brainstorming around key issues for the project. K&I contributed by presenting the ongoing and expected activities in WP4 “Governance analysis and recommendations for policies and investments”. In this context, the discussion focused on the policy frameworks to assess climate adaptation and mitigation strategies across Europe (from local to continental level) and to identify gaps in climate governance, including challenges such as the inclusion of disadvantaged people or the relationship between social and climate justice.
