On June 13-14, 2019, the kick-off meeting of the EU project MIRROR (Migration-Related Risks caused by misconceptions of Opportunities and Requirement) took place at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität in Hannover, Germany.

 

Besides the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover (project coordinator), the meeting was attended by the other members of the Consortium, i.e., Bundesministerium für Landesverteidigung und Sport (Austria), Malta Police Force (Malta), Polismyndigheten Swedish Police Authority (Sweden), SAIL LABS Technology GMBH (Austria), Eurix Srl (Italy), Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (Netherlands), Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (Greece), Totalforsvarets Forskningsinstitut (Sweden), Universität Wien (Austria), University of Malta (Malta), Knowledge & Innovation Srls (K&I Srls) (Italy), Fremde Werden Freunde (Austria), and Agenfor International Foundation (Italy).

During the meeting, Luciano d’Andrea and Daniele Mezzana presented the work to be carried out by K&I, related to the study of key societal issues related to migrations and the factors influencing the societal acceptance of the MIRROR solutions.
