Livia Ermini participated from the beginning in the activities of the Istituto di Studi Avanzati di Rocca di Papa and the School of Sociology and Human Sciences, specializing in the organizational management of research programs, training and technical assistance.
Since the early 1990s, she has held numerous management positions for several non-profit organizations, which involved coordination and management of technical and organizational resources, management and planning of complex programs, programming and financial planning, and personnel management. In the field of financial management, her responsibilities have involved budget planning and control, administrative management and accounting.
From 1993 to 1995 she was executive director of STESAM, a higher education institute in Bari (Puglia Region), responsible for organizational and financial management and the monitoring of the quality of didactic activities.
In the following years, she was executive director for several projects and training courses involving fund raising, participatory quality analysis, foreign trade, new women’s entrepreneurship.
For over twenty years she has worked with CERFE, ASDO and Laboratory of Citizenship Sciences, her duties including the organizational and financial management of several projects funded by the European Union, the United Nations and the World Bank and several Italian government bodies (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Basilicata Region, Lazio Regional Government, Puglia Regional Government, and Tuscany Regional Government).
She has also participated in numerous public initiatives promoted by the Accademia di studi storici Aldo Moro, dealing mainly with organizational and logistical aspects.
Other duties have involved the preparation of congresses, conferences and seminars, both in Italy and abroad, and the publication of several books, handbooks, conference proceedings and journals, especially as regards editorial aspects, graphics and publishing.
She is a member of CERFE and ASDO.
